There's also the data protection act to consider; export of data to other countries etc. Then the "ease" factor; they're awake at the same time as you, local phone numbers, no problems with exchange rates, same country for legal proceedings (hope it won't happen, but...) etc etc.

The places you're looking in the UK don't sound like the places you should be looking.
