I wouldn't use it again myself. I installed it on some file servers a couple of years back in order to backup any open files. I seem to remember that some strange faults occurred and removing it was a complete nightmare with many blue screens and angry clients.
I didn't touch it again. That was on Windows 2000 advanced server. Ofcourse new versions of St Bernards may be different, but I'm afraid I wouldn't touch it.
I may well be wrong but I thought that the new OS's (XP but I would have thought server OS's too) are now able to backup open files - the desktop backup systems I use certainly seem to. They use the Volume Shadow Copy Service.
