Strange...

I'm hosting a few sites which have wmv files stored, but when clients connect they fail to stream. I see WMP attempting to open UDP ports but our FW rules block these.

From the client's point of view, WMP simply responds with 'locating media' forever...

I'm sure this wasn't an issue a while back! ??

I see that WMP seems to open what appears to be random UDP ports but I can't be doing with that. A Google shows 'information overload' - what am I missing here?

LOL, too many red wines last night.

Turns out to be the client's firewall as the sites in question stream fine to other users, including me.. hehe.. Great, I like those issues!
