Hi

Due to lack of time and other commitments we're looking for interested parties to purchase our established hosting company assets.

I can provide more details after an NDA but here's some basic details:

UK Data Centre
Annual Profit after operating costs: £40,000
Colocated Racks - APC (Racks are owned): 2
Power to each rack: 4No 16amp with power redundancy through APC transfer switches
No Servers - total: 32 mixture of Quad\Dual Xeons, and some Pentium D and P4. 2-8GB Ram in each server, 85% of servers have 4No hot swap drives with minimum RAID1 (most RAID10). All are from a major manufacturer of rackmount servers.
Number Dedicated Servers: 19
Number VPS Servers: 2
Number Shared hosting Servers: 1
Shared Resource Servers e.g. DBs, Email, DNS, FTP etc: 10
Control Panel: Helm 3 with upgrade protection
All servers Windows OS
Managed Gigabit Network - redundant L3 managed
Gigabit Hardware Firewalls - redundant pair
APC Zero-U Remote Reboot Switches
KVM systems with bios access to all servers
All equipment owned outright
Ave Monthly Total Data Transfer: 800GB (there isn't a 0 missing here!)
Average Support Requests per month: 20 - mostly general questions rather than problems

It's a smooth running, highly organized, operation ready to take over with the ability to run it as an on-going established business from day 1. No loans, overdrafts, or leases. There's a huge potential for a company or person with more time than we have to manage the set-up and grow the business.

Please note: this is for the sale of the hosting assets including the above, all software licences (owned outright), and all hosting clients. The company itself is not for sale. Could you please send us a copy of the NDA. We are Othello Technology Systems Ltd, founded in 1996, incorporated 1999. We run our own racks and servers in our own data centre suites, serving dedicated,VPS and shared hosting customers worldwide, using a variety of systems inclujding cPanel, Plesk, HSphere. Although you are Helm based we have some experience but withdrew it from our general offerings due to stability and quality issues.

Hi

The DC is in the UK. I can provide more information once we have a returned NDA.

Forgot to mention a couple of things.

1. Our racks are in a secure cage rather than on the general datafloor with our own company access passes.

2. The KVM switches have remote IP gateways so bios level access is available both remotely (via IP) and locally in the datacentre (via a console/keyboard)

Chap, if you can't even state the general area of the country, its going to be a bloody waste of paperwork, as there are only 4 Uk regions I am interested in, and if it isn't one of those, the NDA is pointless!

I appreciate your concern and frustration but there are valid reasons for withholding that information at this time. I'm not trying to be evasive for the sake of being awkward but we want to be the ones to approach our customers about what is potentially happening before they find out from another source.
