Telephone redirection services

Hi,

Can anyone provide any links for good places to get a UK phone number along with redirection services. There's a ton of providers on google and it's pretty difficult to pick the 'hot' from the 'not' so thought I'd ask here.

It must have the following features:

- ability to set different numbers to redirect to (either in series or at different times of day)

- ability to redirect to international (mainly US) number at no extra cost to caller

- ideally the ability to redirect to cellphone too as some require the lines to be landlines (not as important)

This will be very low usage number so I'm looking more towards higher rate per minute and low monthly fee rather than vice verca. I would also like (as stated above) and additional fees for international redirection to be added to our bill and not the phone bill of the caller which should be a set rate (either local, national rate, whatever).

There are some which are pretty good. We used Call Sciences, but they have somehow screwed up our account. Up until they did this is was great we've used them for four years, but will be moving. CallMinder or Callagenix looks good.

Here here on CallaGenix Rob... we use them too. Really good system, maybe a little on the user-unfriendly side but since my history is in programming I'm fairly happy with it. They charge 50p/day+any call charges (to non-UK lines or mobiles.)

Jim - if you're looking for a decent voice artist we got ours done by a guy who did quite a bit of BT business stuff, you can see what it's like by calling 0870 141 7149. I can dig his details out for you.

Following on from Rob’s excellent idea of the telephone based network status report, we are trialling a new text system (mobile phone based).

Customers can text “box (space) status” to 83248. They will then receive a text back within a few seconds/minutes giving details of any current network issues.

You are welcome to test it (will cost you 25p + normal network charge)

Only just remembered about this but thanks for the tips guys

I agree that the CallaGenix is user-UNfriendly so around the time of this topic I emailed their sales with a brief description of what was wanted and asked for their suggestion on the best service. I got a rather abrubt reply back basically saying everything is on the website so look there- basically no help whatsoever which put me right off them.

They seem to be able to offer what I need though (from what I can gather on their site) and I can't find anyone comparable so may give them another try.
