    your server may well run a 50 tick CSS server but take care of the following:

    1.) You will need to make sure that HTT is turned off, your likely to run into lag else
    2.) Most maps dont have more than 40 spawn points

    Don't run 100tick... if you are... don't.

    Reduce it... you'll find load goes down and probably improved performance.

    HTT is that hyperthreading just a guess and how would i go about turning that off.
    I wouldnt want to run them all on one big massive server maybee 2-3 20 man ones

    And axer do you mean 50slots at 66tick or 50tick 40slots.

    ah sorry got confused, I assumed you meant you wanted 1x 50 slot server, to do that you would almost definitely need to turn HTT off (yes, hyper threading technology) if your running smaller servers though it may not be required.

    With regards to how many ticks you will fit on your box, I'm not really sure, depends entirely on the hardware and how you've set things up, I'd look to get another 512Mb of RAM in the machine though, its likely you will need it, check to see how big a page file your running up at the moment first though.

    To be honest i found that it was coping very well with 1gb i mean i expected it to use way more ram than it is on my current setup which is 3 22man servers it is only using about 40% memory thought this goes upto bout 50-60% when changing map on one of the servers. Should i be woried I factored about 20mb per slot and 50 slots tht wud be 1gb
    I read about the 20mb per slot rule sumwhere else cant remember though.

    How exactly do you change HTT to be off and what would you class as a large server would 3 20man servers be better with it on or off.
