NB: The DediPower (AS24931) and BlueSquare (AS12703) networks are totally different and independent of each other... (they really shouldn't be but thats a different matter :P)

I can make no recommendations or anything but it is probably worth remembering that most facilities will have other networks onsite or reachable via transport. For example in pulsant you can probably get transit from a number of people like goscomb, lynk ect

You are however restricted to the Pulsant backhaul network - all network traffic to the Maidenhead and Milton Keynes facilities passes over their layer 1 connections. Most of it passes over their layer 2 connections, there are very few wavelength customers on site.

Not so long ago the backhaul network imploded spectacularly and took hours to fix. Customers were subsequently given a wooly RFO that explained very little and glossed over the fact that the network was non-redundant for weeks. Even worse, they don't seem to have sufficient capacity on the backhaul network to operate with one of the London legs down without congestion.

Haha! no there are carriers that don't rely purely on geo waves/pulsant layer 2. Regardless this wasn't even about just pulasnt there are plenty of other sites in the area where you have a choice even if the facility would rather you bought their transit!
