I noticed that Rackspace has come up with a pretty cool offer for Christmas. If you buy a new server before the end of November then you get double bandwidth until the end of January. I think it only applies to the UK, but you can find all the details on their website.

Thats great. But for the price of a rackspace server I could get a much better server with a decent company at half the cost.
I'm not a fan of rackspace.

You get yourself a nice new server with double bandwidth for a couple of months - if you do use the extra bandwidth your going to be screwed on over bandwidth charges or have to upgrade the contract to include more bandwidth.... sounds a great scam to pull in clients to me.
Add that to RackSpaces shocking fanatical support and you'd be crazy to buy it IMHO.
