I need to rent a 16amp full rack for an ASP solution.
Currenty looking at Stratford/Servercity, C4London and Telstra.
Who are the major providers of rack space, the bigger names that poeple generally use? Don't really want to go with a small company renting a few racks. Uptimes & good SLA's very important.
The major providers in London are the Datacentre owners themselves but expect to pay a premium if you are only going for a single rack. The main ones in London would be Telehouse, Telecity/Redbus, IXEurope and Globalswitch but there are many more smaller ones too.
If I were you looking for a single rack I would try some of the smaller hosts on here that will be able to stick you within one of their cages/suites at a much better rate than going direct.
*edit* When I say smaller there are in fact companies on here with whole floors in major DC's so IMO just as good as going direct.

I never yet met a techie that could survive on bread and water. Pizza and Coke however...

You dont mention what sort of connectivity type you need, or how much bandwidth ? What are your IP addressing requirements ? How much support you'll want ? How about access etc...
An unusual shortlist though

Ricky....... No thanks. I'm not going to turn into some kinda Tech Support Jabba the Hut, permanently entombed in old pizza boxes and coke bottles wrapped in fibre and wires connected to the internet 24/7 in a permanent nerdgasm.

Multihomed IP, 4mbs, remote hands, direct access 24/7 to rack would be nice.
When you say IP addressing do you mean quantity? I thought they were available free if justified?
