Are there any websites around that give a genuinely independant review and comparison of dedicated server providers.

I know its possible to read from peoples experiences on forums like this one, but the problem is its difficult to tell whether positive reviews are genuinely unbiased or from "friends of the MD".

There are NO independant review sites because why would anyone spend their time setting one up only to make $2 in ad revenue?

Better to check forums like this and webhostingtalk for example. Find a host and do some searches on them, see what they are like, do some research.

You won't get any such sites which produce an independent review. Because every thing is based up on their personal experiences. Somebody may have positive experiences and some others are having negative experiences. But reading a good amount of reviews helps you arrive a decision. Because for a quality host negative reviews are less. Web hosting talk produce some genuine reviews. Just try a search there.
