If only - this is from a local CCTV-DVR specialists, who're organising the fitting and maintenance and training, I was just doing some "pre-setup" reading :P
From what I can gather all the multichannel DVR's are basically cheap-nasty PC's and all made in the Far-East, so you cant escape the "sam-tam" instructions.
With the Sony Camera's (excluding the "fabrique en chine" sticker on the base), they've clearly had someone who reads, writes and speaks English translate the instructions - which is overkill as it's basically:
* drill 3 holes
* insert 3 rawl plugs
* tighten 3 security screws
* plug in pre-made cable
- your typical IKEA stick-man and 2 panels would have done
16 cameras per zone, 1600*1200 res, 480fps (ie. 25 per camera), multiple interior and exterior zones, 3 months storage, option to archive indefinitely, number plate and facial recognition quality ...
Only things I can't have from my original spec. are the operational turrents/gun towers and the fully working and loaded tank - Tower Hamlets council wont grant a parking permit for the tank![]()
