Left for dead

Anyone played Left4Dead yet?

(also avail on the 360)

Have to say, I am rather impressed.

Very realistic. Excellent AI. Graphics aren't bad. Only the demo so far, but it's very good fun.

Tip from your resident gamer...this one is worth a go

I've been desperate for this since it was first announced. Damn you, Valve.

Have been wondering whether to get it for the pc or 360 - I'd prefer pc due to controls, but my best cpu/gpu is from the year HL2 came out. Will give the demo a go once the workload drops off a bit, see how it performs.

Not a good month for the wallet though - there are about 15 games I want now!

Have to agree Olly, I was playing it the moment Left4Dead unlocked and it is great fun when the horde attack.

Co-Op works very well although with 4 people that know how to play games, it's all over very quick in the demo.

The only disappointing thing...but just makes me more eager for the full release!

Yep. It's a bit fiddly, but you can lock the server (not via the conventional means) then only have your mates play.

Everyone goes on about this, but I actually only have two friends, and neither of them play games. Online gaming against randoms just isn't the same.

We should set up a WHC server! If only we knew something about hosting, eh?

If 3+ of you tell me you've got it, I don't mind setting one up

Actually playing with randomers is quite cool. I was playing with French dudes last night that were really getting into it....at one point screaming lol!
