From the outside, the plain Georgian frontage with its famous black door appears too small to accommodate all these roles...
Alternatively I could rent a stylish modern office in London for £1000 a month and plaster lots of picture of it on my website (but I'd have to make my customers pay for it)
or,
I can get a virtual office address ]Office Front and post an arial view of it on this forum. Would that make you more confident to do business with me?
I wouldn't go anywhere near a host who thinks of spelling and office address as the first two features to comment about another host. (nothing personal pal).

Well done Redfox.

Exactly - the goal is to lower costs, passing the savings on to the customers (sounds cheesy, but very very true).

I've seen other similar comments on this board where a user comes in asking for reviews on a host, and the first thing they see is other hosts saying
"... the company is not VAT registered or they don't show their VAT number on their website/signature and therefore they must be a small company... blaa blaa..."
I feel very sorry for people who think of VAT registration as an important factor in realiability. They clearly have no idea how the system works and that itself is a negative point.
Well, if a company isnt vat registered, their turnover is very small, hence they wont have money to spend on support staff or networks, infrastructure, etc, etc, etc/

Turnover would be small yes, but that dosent mean captial is starved
New companies need to start somewhere...

A company doing over the VAT limit can still find a way to avoid registering for VAT. The wisdom of doing this is debatable, but if you ask your accountant they may be able to explain it to you.
All the best.
All points are very valid here, VAT or no VAT. However, I dont think that SlimAdy was actually querying business practices.![]()

Warren: I see you've replaced the false copyright year on your website (1997-2005) after changing it back during the thread over at WHT on the subject![]()

Its not just the operating, the date signifes the copyright of the materials used within the website...
1997 was long before Cheap Unlimited Hosting was rebranded to the Red Fox Hosting subsidiary of Red Fox UK
