Escrow Services?
Hi,
Can anyone recommend decent escrow services (specifically for selling domain names). Been getting some interesting offers for domains i hold recently. Cheers - Mark

Only ever sold a couple via Sedo, using their escrow, worked okay. I'd guess Neil is your man to ask though.

We've used escrow.com a couple of times
Sent $15k to the USA last week. Was relatively painless (apart from HSBC blocking the transaction (and not bothering to tell us) because they're on some mysterious blacklist there) Not sure what rate they give you if you need to convert currency with them though - we also have Euro and $ accounts, so dont need to worry

For my own I use sedo's services, for our customer we offer a domain broker/esrow service

What about your company's solicitors? They will hold money on trust and release to a 3rd party on certain metrics.

sedo and escrow.com are both fine for this sort of thing

Used sedo before and fine, I also used moniker.com but the domain was reg'd there but was a good process.

Sedo or Escrow are good, but if the domain is very low value you won't recieve much after sedo's fees.
I have to say i was quite dissapointed that they would not negotiate on their 10% fee at even £733k although that didn't go through
