Very true - it sets an incredibly dangerous precedent if ICANN let this slide. (It may have already been sorted out, but I do remember some articles that it was in the pipeline)

I would not have a clue the value of a good domain, in fact I have just offered one up for grabs on this very same forum. The domain is mp3-hosting.co.uk I am sure it’s worth something to someone.

I am unsure if to sell it off along with lots of others for hosting that I own, now I have decided to completely quit hosting and run SPAM URL REMOVED. Or maybe give it as a prize to one of the hosts featured.

If someone offers anywhere near to prices mentioned above, I am sorry to say I think I will grab it and offer another domain as a prize.

Regarding the prices for a domain name. I would personally pay a good figure for a domain I really wanted, if I know I can make a sizable income from it. I am a little lucky in some respects. I got on the buying domains band wagon early on, and have lot’s of quality domains covering many different subjects. My main income has come from affiliation over the years and without the right domains, it really is an uphill struggle.
The only drawback I have is it literally costs me well over £1000 each year just to renew the domains, but if a £6.00 domain earns £50 per year who can argue.

    Best regards all
