It's fair to say however that Enom is a little limited in it's support for .uk domains (although it is what I use, tending to transfer the uk domains in blocks to Firevision from time to time).

Can someone confirm the prices on enom for resellers?
I was just going to sign-up but, .com cost $29.95 and .co.uk $14.99 which even with the current exchange rate it's still expensive.
It does say "Resellers: you must be logged in to see your custom prices." so anyone know's what they are?

I don't quite know how all the reseller thing works, I bought an account from zoltan at www.domainresell.biz (I think) - my average price is much, much lower.

Hmm, that's the link, but even the top account has higher prices than mine.

your reseller price is determined by a number of factors - wether you open an a/c directly with enom as an ETP or from an existing ETP or from an existing reseller.
ETP = Enom Tech Partner = Top Level Reseller
Prices are set by the person "above" you - so in the case of tp, prices are set by enom, in the case of sub-accounts prices set by the etp , in the cases of sub-sub accounts prices set by the sub-acc holder etc
basic price for resellers is $8.95/domain/yr

Same here. Enom + Nominet. You can still get $6.95 Enom accounts on Ebay.

They get adjusted frequently inline with what the rest of the market is doing.
Is yours a *real* enom a/c at the prices quoted or one of these hybrid "rebate" schemes that have sprung up a lot wheer you "buy" ther right to get domains @ 7.95 and really pay $8.95 and occasionally get a free one from another account ?

Hi Rob,
My Enom is one bought some while ago from a reseller I think. I get my confirmation emails from one of domainresell.biz's domains but the prices are lower - presumably due to the age or my account (and I wish I had shelled out more for the $6.95 accounts!)

Just ring jennifer bogren @ enom sales, deposit $6950 (cheap now due to the usd rate) and they'll make you an ETP with the $6.95 pricing

I'm sure they will - I thought $400 worth of mostly personal domains was excessive too!

If you have some TLD's through one registrar and others through another how are you going to automate that?
(thats a bit of a rhetorical question because I know the answer)
Its going to be very difficult.
Developing an automated system for .uk is very difficult.
I believe that Tucows may eventually offer a service where they handle all the registrations but put the .uk domains onto an IPSTAG belonging to the reseller which is a partial solution.
