It was awesome, to say the least.
The bit where shes in the senate seems like a Gladiator rip-off... Some people say the plot was poor, I think it was well done...

it was more realistic than the previous films in some ways - those that made spartans look like romans! however the ending and various bits were very "not in the originals" .......

superb film though and will be buying :-)

Cinematography was out of this world. Although what did confuse me was how the story was about 300 Spartans beating the 1.5 million or so other soldiers. Granted, they tried their best, but didn't they still all die? lol
