Thread: The Dark Knight

It was quite good i still prefer batman begins though.

I enjoyed it (although I'll agree with it not being as good as Batman Begins).
The one thing that REALLY annoyed me isn't really the film's fault. As soon as they introduced the Harvey character with the coin I knew straight way that he was going to turn into Two Face and then spent the entire film trying to second guess how it was going to happen...

The Dark Knight was one of my favorite films of the year so far.

I really enjoyed The Dark Knight - and what a part Heath Ledger played! If he really threw himself into the role (you know, as in some actors try and become a little of the part they play) did this lead to the suicide/accidental overdose? (delete as appropriate)

Cant stand these ****ing over hyped bullshit American films. The two biggest blockbusters of the year have been getting ratings beyond the ridiculous :

Dark Knight - 9.2/10
Iron Man - 8.2/10

According to IMDB and the losers that vote,Dark Knight is the 3rd best film of all time and Iron Man is better than 99.99% of films out there.

What a crock of shit. Neither of them are noteworthy and I don't think people will be talking about these films in 5 years time. Now if you want a good comic book film Sin City is better than both of the above and is a real masterpiece if you ask me.

I think both films are good for what they are, big cinema blockbusters that are enjoyable to watch and well worth the cinema trip. BUT thats all they are. 7/10 films at most.

Saw this just after it came out and it was good but it drags on for too long. Really good performance by Heath Ledger though and I would definitely watch it again.

Really? I thought this was better - if not just because of heath ledgers performance, which i though lived up to (and more) the hype.
