Nope, seems more of a gimmick than a serious phone - i'm happy with my Vario II

Features wise, its supposedly quite lacking.

If it has 3G, if they can improve the battery life, if they make it so it isn't limited to Apples own Apps, then I'd consider it. The battery life one is quite a biggie, because the battery isn't user replaceable.

That's why I said *IF* as there's been talk of them adding 3G before they bring it to Europe. N95 isn't all that good, Dean had one on trial and it wasn't very nice.

Yeah, a friend of mine has one, and he really doesn't rate it - quite unstable too by all accounts.

I tried out an N95 as an upgrade and didn't like it so I sent it back and got a lighter more standard k610i phone today. Already like it much more than my heavy MDA Vario I had as well. Half the things these phones have now most people never even seem to use so whats the point in having all the features. Seems to be more of a fashion statement to have the latest most expensive phone. I definitely won't be tempted to buy the iphone simply due to the fact that it's made by apple.

Correct, I have a creative labs mp3 player which you get far more for your money and a lot better quality compared to when I have listened to other peoples ipods which don't seem to be anything special.
