Bit like saying "I have a website that's kinda busy, what spec box do I need?"

Short answer - depends very much on your usage. You use gas for Hot water?

Npower aren't to bad, they are always cheaper than British Gas but follow british gas price rises and drops by about 30 day's.

Only thing that annoys me about npower is every 6 months they look at your account and automatically change direct debit amounts, then you have to phone up and tell them to stop.

they're a pain in the ass for support, but i think British Gas are meant to be pretty good if you take both electricity and gas from them

Have a look at www.moneysavingexpert.com he probably has all the tips and links you'll need to find the best deal. Or try something like confused.com.

    ScottishHydroElectric

certainly when I investigated were comparable pricing to the cheapest and its "green" electric - you get the usual discounts for taking gas & electric, for paying by d/debit, and for gettig bills by email / doing your own meter readings.

Knowing how much people like "uswitch" get in commissions puts be right off using any of their services

I just kept the existing supplier to the flat I purchased as it is headache to move supplier. Either way, npower seem fine for my electricity supply.

Take a look-see at Atlantic been with them for just over a year now; prices are decent, people are decent - which is more than can be said for those Philistines at British Gas. :emote_vib

You can forget NPower. Bastards signed us up without our permission. Idiot turned up at the door and we said no thanks, send us some information and we will think about it. He clearly was on commission
