I'm curious...

Have any of you ever had your house egged or anything crazy because you didn't have sweets or money to give to the little oiks that dress up and come to your door on Halloween?

I've been living in my current house for about 6-7 years, and don't recall anyone ever having come to my door on Halloween. But those years I probably had sweet things in the house to throw at them. This year the best I've got is a bag of raisins. Maybe breadsticks.

If they do come to my door this year, what's an appropriate bribe?

Sainsburys had a sign up last night saying eggs wouldn't be sold to children under 16. Makes a bit more sense now I realise what time of the year it is...

Close all the blinds and pretend you’re not in, that’s the best way. Oh and if any little git chucks eggs at our place I will chuck a bag of cement at them got plenty out back.
