    Whats the catch?

Does this look OK to everyone?

New Dell PowerEdge T105 AMD Quad Core Tower Server on eBay, also, Desktop PCs, Computing (end time 05-Nov-08 09:52:35 GMT)

I need a 64bit machine for some ESXi action.

Seems a bit too cheap to me?

Also, any Dell experts know if this will take PC2-5300 DDR RAM?

    Cheers,

    Jon

Dell were selling exactly that spec T105s for £99 on special offer not long ago. Guess this seller picked a load of them up then.
PCbuyIT (Taran Microsystems) are good guys to deal with though.

    Edit: Also, the T105s can take PC2-5300 (667MHz DDR2) or PC2-6400 (800MHz DDR2) RAM

Arh so thats the catch, I missed the deal.

Well, 160 notes isn't too bad. I'll get one if it will take the 6GB of EEC PC2-5300 memory I have.

Are they picky with SATA drives? I've got a spare 750 Gb sata drive kicking around too.

Integrated chipset SATA controllers IIRC so shouldn't be picky
