The bloke cannot even get his facts right. Muslims are NOT forbidden to touch or cook pork or any other non-halal foods. They are only forbidden to eat these foods!

Also about time these stupid rules on kosher and halal were abandoned, they were simply about good hygiene - nothing to to with pleasing The Great Invisible One!

From what I know, some sects of Islam *are* forbidden. As there are many sects, perhaps the ones you know of don't have a problem with it.

This I agree with.

Though meat sucks anyway.

Not checked the Koran - but pretty sure that eating is the only no no! However some islamic sects think that killing non-muslims is great fun - so who knows how some people will interpret the rules!

BTW sucking meat is great - you should try it!

I just checked some translations - they were rather oddly phrased, and kind of unclear to me, but it does appear that the sects that seem to ban you from touching them are incorrect - you just can't eat them.

But, as you say, people will (mis)interpret things in very different ways to what you might.

The lawsuit still makes me sigh.

"He would have had to do certain things and bacon would have been involved."

After 5 minutes I'm finally stopped rolling, laughing on the floor, going to see how many times I can drop that phase in conv's
