    Michael Crichton, dead at 66

BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Author Michael Crichton dies, 66

Fingers crossed they release the book that was planned for the 2nd of December, as it's likely to be his last. Was only reading "Next" the other day, and I'll have to re-read all his books now
What a loss to the Sci-fi community, nearly as big as Douglas Adams.

Of course my bull-bar is safe, it sits so high the old people and the children go underneath.

A bit more than likely i'd say unless he had some more unpublished works somewhere.

Yeah, you never know what will appear after an author dies, he could well have spent his last weeks penning a final masterpiece that we won't see for many months as it would end up being edited by someone else before being released under his name. IIRC something similar is happening with something Douglas Adams wrote...
