Ricky, it means your hard drive is about to go pop.

Perhaps your desk is wonky, put a spirit level on it?

I've heard sticking in a sterilising oven at 240 deg C for half an hour will fix it...

I suspect it would fix the Mac salesman too ;-)

Ok, so I've got a different mouse in now and it's doing the same thing. It's a bit [goldmember]freeky deeky[/goldmember].

Seems like a driver problem, but seeing as they are mice by different manufacturers, can't see this being a problem - although admittedly the Dell Mouse I'm currently using could be a re-badged Logitech, who were the manufactures of the previous mouse.

    Hayelp!

    Isn't it obvious?

You're mobile phone causes this. Put it near your mouse and ring your mobile, the mouse will start to creep. It happens periodically as your phone talks to the cell network telling it you're still connected etc.

Saw it first with a Siemens C10 back in the 1999

    Hah!

I thought you'd sussed it then! I removed both phones from the vicinity.

    Success?

Thanks for getting my hopes up. Not.

Computers hate me in a creepy way.

This on a laptop or normal PC
    Either way try this

In control panel open the mouse application look for "enhance pointer precision" and turn it off

    It's a PC.
