Unfortunately this is an age old issue when members require X posts to be able to do advertise and access new areas.

Thankfully Neil/Luara were quick on the ball and deleted a lot of m3ltdown's spam already!

Its more the posts from other users telling the spammer to stop spamming thats harassing me. They don't get cleared up so it causes the exact same problem as the original spam post.

Yes - caused quite a confusion with the first post I saw, which was aXer saying something about a confidential quote, but there was no post above it which made any sense - then realised after reading some other threads, that someone had been spamming a bit.

Bit of a head scratching this morning while I read through that first thread wondering what the heck was going on. :-)

Also locking old polls would be great IMHO as we see old polls dragged up with no new posts just a vote.
