When do you get yours up
We always put our Christmas Tree up on my Birthday (8th) when do you put yours up?
Should be fun this year, my little girl is 14 months old and will be all over it for sure.

Never have a tree, nor decorations
(Don't worship invisible sky fairies)

When I was very young, my parents used to put the tree up on Christmas Eve during the day, and I'd 'help' my father put the lights on it. It wouldn't be decorated however, I was told that the fairies did that overnight, so I'd go to sleep, and wake up the next morning, after looking through stocking I'd then go downstairs to find a decorated tree - was quite exciting at the time...

I always wanted a real one but the Wife won't entertain the needles everywhere, maybe next year I will get my way.

These are nothing to do with the God Plot - put them up and enjoy a good pagan time!

Personally I just put down some plastic and sacrifice a goat. Much simpler. You can bring a dat drive over on a long scsi cable and get good computer karma for the whole year too.
(SCSI is *NOT* magic. There are *fundamental technical reasons* why it is necessary to sacrifice a young goat to your SCSI chain now and then.)

Of course my bull-bar is safe, it sits so high the old people and the children go underneath.

I nearly run large goat over the other night on the way back from BSQ, dunno what the heck it was doing in the middle of the road in the middle of the night. I could have sold it to you.

Hehe, my landie seemed to be a bit of a pheasant magnet this autumn, had 2 or 3 throw themselves under it...

We are doing ours today, champagne and salmon breakfast, then picking it up in the village centre with the neighbours, and having a race back with it! My other half already put all the other Christmas stuff up in the week, I really had to protest to not do this last weekend, i mean in my family we put it up on xmas eve!

We don't have a problem with it - get a non drop (which they probably all are these days) and you'll get a few when you put it up, a few when you take it down and none in between.
Well, we don't anyway.
