Thread: Where are you for Christmas and New Years?

Always interesting to find out how many people stay at home!

The wife and I will be coming back to the UK to my parent's for Christmas and then over to Bulgaria on the 26th -> 3rd for new years.

As its an ex-communist state NYE is a much bigger celebration there

Belfast with family for Xmas then doing the excellent thing of staying in on NYE!

Much cheaper, easier, no double fare taxi's, etc etc

france with family for christmas. bit of skiing and general relaxation. nye back to london.

Home to Belfast for Christmas, was meant to be coming back and experiencing another Edinburgh NYE, but seems the powers that be have decided we are heading to Leeds now

Lincoln with parents for Christmas then York with the girlfriend and her family then back to Lincoln for new year's eve then back to York for new year's day... phew!

Christmas at home, probs at a neighbours for NYE, big party on the 27th for all the family and friends.

Stayed at home the last 10 years for NYE (kids always been too young to go anywhere).

This year will be in Newcastle of all places. Take the kids to see the glowlights parade hopefully.

You're completely under the thumb Paul I'm going to be back in NI this Christmas as well, though I haven't decided whether to stay there for New Year or fly back to London.

Pah to you.. There is nothing wrong with Leeds ;-)

Majority of family going to my sisters (in Grimsby) for Christmas as it's easier for us to all go to hers due to my nephews

New Years I'm working, but going to a friend's house party.. the past three years have always been very ridiculous. The kitchen floor is still stained from some crazy huge party poppers from the first year they held one!

How many of you are running reduced / no hours over xMas and NYE?
Seems strange seeing alot of the OMB's taking holidays (not talking about this thread as such)

This will be the first year where I do not have responsibility for any shared or reseller hosting clients. Wonder if I can leave the laptop off for more than a day though
