    eUKHost - Down?

    I have a dedicated server with eUKHost which is down. Their website seems to be down also. Anyone else having problems?

    Problems with eUK Host...

    I'd say try searching google for the swathes of people with issues with eUK Host, but that wont help you now will it.

    Their site might be hosted on a separate network / host / provider / country.

    Im on a reseller account with Eukhost, and had a text saying my sites were down at 16:40, everything to do wth Eukhost is down, looking a little worrying , altho knowing them, there are working their balls off getting the situation sorted out.

    Same here, a dedicated server has gone missing, altogether with eukhosts servers..

    Request time out

    Even their phones are down, even though it would be due to too much traffic.....

    Its irrelevant if it is in one site or in several. If my server is on the one affected then everything else is irrelevant.
    On the other hand, a big datacenter has better redundancy (including staff) than a small one.
    It seems it is a network issue.
    Lets see how fast it will be fixed and what measures will be taken so as not to happen again....

    You missed the point, Jon was talking about their phone system being down, and positing that this was due to it being run on VOIP from their primary DC.. which logic dictates is a very silly thing to do.. given that, like now, in the event of an issue, not only is your network down, but so is any method your customers have of contacting you.

    I hope you guys get a satisfactory resolution to this, and would remind you all to check your SLA and claim any credits due!

    There are some "big" datacentres with no redundancy at all, and as eUKHost dont have a datacentre, but colo/rent from BlueSquare its irrelevant.
