Indeed, and normally we don't stay on topic for long anyway, and some of the tangents have been very interesting

And to make this on topic, I agree with the rule for the Company and VAT number if you have one, doesn't help those of us who are Sole Traders and Non-VAT Registered however, does seem a bit biased towards those who are.

I believe this is my queue to step in and ask another n00b question...

I've toyed with VAT reg as it does have some advantages, but the whole doing the governments work for them and extra accounting headache (as I do my own accounts) puts me off the idea.

Oh, and Louise now isn't accepting any private messages from me after I complained to her about her warning me. And I found at least 9 spelling and/or grammatical errors in her last message to me, what fun.

Louise is just trying to do her job..
