As you can tell, I'm fairly new here. Though I've constantly got one thing on my mind:
Why do most members put their Company and VAT number in their signatures? I've never seen it on other forums.

If your Customer that is looking for a established business you can look up there details just via thouse details
Companies are supposed to display their registered name, registered number, place of registration and registered office address in business letters, order forms and websites.
Whether or not posts on forums by company representatives are included in this is debatable IMHO but it's better to be safe than sorry.

It was a rule that you had to include it in your offers posts, don't think many people bother with it anymore though.
I remember it being introduced as a rule, cant remeber when.
