Another Car thread

Is it about time for another car thread yet? :P

(I'm not overly excited at the prospect of the delivery of my brand spanking new AMv8 Roadster next sunday, honest :-) )

When I'm going to see a thread where someone isn't buying an aston or insert other luxury car here.

Seriously though what's wrong with a nice company car (lexus,bmw,merc etc) ?
Actually I know I'd choose an Aston over them anyday.

Make sure you remove fuse 22 as well, much better

Try this then:

My car is a cabrio, full leather, climate control, six speed gearbox. Not a "luxury" brand but don't feel I am missing out on much. Oh and I get 57 mpg on a long run.

However I would still love an Aston however impractical it may be, and congrats to anyone who can afford one!

lol, like a kid at Christmas, I wondered how long it'd be

I was the same though picking my car up, don't think I slept properly for two nights before.

Gonna have to get mine cleaned now as well else you're going to show me up big time, looks like it's been driving cross country.

Now I have the tough decission, do I:

a) Get some of the jobs around the house done

or

b) Go for a drive

bearing in mind it's brilliantly sunny outside right now.

Answers on a postcard...

Heh, if you can get a child seat (minus adult passenger) in an Elise along with a push-chair, I'm pretty sure you can get one in a AMv8 Roadster.

Congrats Mark.. you've certainly had this coming for a while...

I'm also going to get back in to something special this summer.. I'll keep schtum for now though

Echo the comments about removing the butterfly fuse.. and give it a good thrapping

Lovely motors.. just make sure you have some Gucci shades too

ISOFix baby seats always seemed overpriced to me...Standard 0+ has been doing us very well. That said me and the little lady had a nice trip over to the Chessington Zoo. Roof off there and back in the Mog +4 and as a special treat I moved the baby seat into the front so she could see what was going on better

Excellent! Perfect spec, pretty much the same as mine used to be:

James and Martin are top blokes at Grange, lots of time for them, not your usual salesmen either, they are really nice chaps and will do whatever they can to help you.

Did you see a silver DBS in the showroom? Still waiting for my deposit to be sent back to me when they sell it!!

Anyway, I am sure you will have many happy miles in the Aston, you will be looking for loads of excuses to use it on days like today!

Aston have a new Supercar out this year, a V12 based on the AMv8... should be fun, and can only be good news for AMv8 residuals!
