We're been getting a few more random ones recently with no payload or links. Only viable scenarios I could come with is 1) that they were trying to get the sources labelled/aws as ham before later using them for spam or 2) they are checking if the mailbox exists and/or if the NDR is spamable.

Probably checking the account is open and allows spam, get ready for the onslaught.

Im thinking the whitelisting thing is likely... considering it seems around 50 mails a day offering me discount Viagra and great new ways to extend my John Thomas which some how make their way into the inbox... I need to rework my spam filters a bit :P
