I am supplier of spare parts of heavy vehicles. I want to start my online business for which I need a website which caters the Supply Chain Management of spare parts etc. in UK. One thing you will need to look at is if you want an 'off the shelf' solution such as zencart/oscommerce or if you want a bespoke system that is unique to you.

Off the shelf is likely to be a lot cheaper than a bespoke system, but *possibly* less flexible to your needs.
