Hello guys! The situation is the following - I have some databases on local host and now I am going to upload website to hosting! My friend provided me with some place on his hosting account and now I am going to test a website! Could you please explain how should I act with my ready databases if I have Cpanel 11 installed? I don't wish to rewrite them again and just would like to move them from local host to hosting!
If you've got access to phpMyAdmin on your localhost, its easy to export your database to an SQL file - then you can just import that file in the phpMyAdmin on the cPanel server.

You'll want to create MySQL dump files. On a PC:
mysqldump -Q -uUSERNAME -pPASSWORD databasename > c:\foldername\mydumpfile.sql
Then depending on the size of the dump files:
- For small ones use phpMyAdmin (after creating the database and database user in CPanel first),
- For large files ask your host to import them (after creating the database and database user in CPanel first).
