Is anyone running this yet? if so what's it like performance wise and is it stable?

Virtual Linux.
yes we have it on a number of live setups...
cPanel 11.24.1-C31667 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9
CENTOS 5.2 x86_64 on standard
performance - not really any noticable difference to the earlier versions, beyond the "accelerated" swoosh logo
* list-accounts and other features in WHM is actually slower, but x3 skin email features are quicker
* there are issues installing SSL certificates, i.e. it doesnt
* exim and spamd keep crashing at least once per day, not found the exact cause yet, chksrvd restarts them
* the whm-whm transfer works more reliably with the compresion off setting than before
* still one or two issues with easyapache/php builds
* the new dns system is completely unusable, so stick to bind
* the include roundcube with attachments/uploads no longer works
its ok if thats all you've known, but there's no real reason to upgrade an existing working server, unless you have sysadmins desperate for more work to do ...

So, the memory saving aspect of 11.24 isn't really worth it for the bug's encountered so far?
Virtual Linux.
there is no memory saving, and its got no more or less bugs than any other version, just a few are slightly more of a PITA

IIRC, dovecot is in 11.24, which has a smaller footprint than courier.
it's now on RELEASE.
More info here: cPanel - The Leading Control Panel
Can't say we've had any problems with it on any of the boxes we tested it on. Working fine, dovecot has always been my IMAP daemon of choice, so it's nice to be able to use it in cPanel, much better than courier. Not had any issues with easyapache.

2 servers using it, one auto-updated perfectly, the other is knackered - what a great way to start the day!

Managed to bork one of my servers too![]()

On mine upcp was hung.
Killed it and ran it with -force
I sometimes wonder what some of you lot must be doing with your servers to experience so many issues with cPanel. I can only just remember the last time a cPanel update went wrong - was about 2+ years ago when Exim failed to update but they updated the config file anyway - which broke the Exim still installed.

Yep, same here - looking at the forum, it seems as though a few people have had this.
