you will be limited to 10 incomming *connections* not users, doesn't matter if you put apache on there, XP itself will limit it
"home" o/s as opposed to server os only allow 1 site
to use SSL you'll need a fixed IP and your ISP will have to allow traffic on the usual poorts 80, 8080, 443 etc
in all seriousness I'd say that if you have to ask questions about *how* to do it, then you're not ready to actually do it, and you'd be better going for shared hosting with someone.
what will you do wjhen your power trips
or bt stuff the exchange *again*
or your isp limits the traffic as many do
or ...
all of which are great reasons to use broad/bloke-band for picking up yr email and online chat and terrible reasons to run a business using it
