Game-Panel = buggy, and its not flexible enough.
I used it for under a month, really got fed up with it. That was on Windows though, not sure if the Linux version would be any better.

I think Game-Panel is designed to be installed on a completely fresh server, we tried implementing it out of courtousy for 1 our customers which already have FTP server etc so it might of confused it a little.
Also another feature I didn't like was the 'clan name' as an ID for each server, usually we go off by box and port number, but it wouldn't let us create 2 ID's of the same which kind of ruined our system.
Just my experiences, a lot of people use it - so mgiht be just meVery picky he he.
Cheers
Ryan

These are not the views of a company director. These are strictly my personal views.
GameCP is quite expensive though, $25 per machine - and then for voice servers etc its $0.08-$1 per voice server. This of course if you were to buy it monthly, I think with this piece of kit your paying to much for what your getting, anyone ever heard of IguanaPanel or something similar? I took a look at that at one point, seem unupdated though..
I've been running a live version of my system for over a month now!
The main 'problem' with the system I've wrote is it requires a few servers to run the backend system (due to the level of failover built into the system), no-one seems interested in running a system that requires this.
So, as I've discussed with a few people before, I _WILL_ be writing a 'lite' version, basically what I've got now, but without all the fancy automated failover gubbins.
If anyone would like to be kept updated with any news about the system, drop me a PM or email.

In my recent research in to the game control panel market, I have noticed a lot of the systems are overpriced for the amount of controls that you are provided with which has lead me to build one that is of true value for money.
I’m hoping to have it completed for the start of the new year, which I shall be releasing further details in to shortly!

Would people be interested in a reseller package for Multiplay's "ClanForge" software? Manual is @ http://clanforge.multiplay.co.uk/userguide/
We're considering reseller packages as well as possible licensing in the future. An idea of interest would be helpful though.

as far as i know gamecp has a reseller package built in, not sure if it powerfull enough as yet for people needs.
it would have to have custom headers, no branding etc

I would be interested, that control panel is meant to be pretty sweet
Wizzo pm more information![]()
GameCP and Game-Panel are both quite poor, we've gone through both and we've been disappointed by both.
