SquirrelMail definately does it for me ... the number of plugins available is excellent and the mailing list is extremely helpful if you're in despair!

We used to run neomail however development for that one was stopped. Now I use horde, it really depends on your needs from a client. I only use Horde when im not at my main pc and its good enough for that
Do you have any specific requirements?

We use qMail and SqWebMail. We are very happy with the program it isn't the most eye pleasing interface for the webmail side of things, but it works great and is not buggy at all.

It's not eye candy but it is solid and rich enough in features to compensate.

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good webmail client that will work with auth'd SMTP? We currently run Exim + Qpopper with a MySQL backend for auth, and as yet, there seems to be a lack of good webmail clients that will work with Auth'd SMTP.
I think the easiest (tho not the quickest) option would be to write our own. Just want to check if anyone knows of anything sutible before we start that project off.
Many thanks,
Alan.

I've got SquirrelMail working with authenticated SMTP.
Drop me an e-mail at the address below if you want a hand setting it up.
Regards,
James

Squirrelmail is working for me on SMTP-Auth too.... after fiddling a little with the settings.

Ok, anyone know of a webmail script that works with smtp-auth AND pop3?
Appears Squirrelmail only works with IMAP.
Thanks,
Alan.

There's a squirrelmail plugin which adds POP3 capability to the script. Needs setting up on a per-user basis though.... if that helps?
