Perldesk v1.6 has just been released with lots of new features and also a new licence fee, no more free downloads it now costs you $39.99 which isn't a bad thing considering the power of the product.

I believe enough though they have priced it well they will loose a lot of users who used the powerful tool because it was free, I'm sure another helpdesk system will replace this and become as popular.

Personally we use DeskPro - best bit of software I've installed in a long while, but it may b overtaken by ModernBill yet, we shall see in a week or two.

Reading the product website would answer these types of questions and would prevent the need for you to dig up 2.5 year old threads.
