Perldesk v1.6 has just been released with lots of new features and also a new licence fee, no more free downloads it now costs you $39.99 which isn't a bad thing considering the power of the product.

I believe enough though they have priced it well they will loose a lot of users who used the powerful tool because it was free, I'm sure another helpdesk system will replace this and become as popular.

The new PerlDesk is pretty good, been using it for a while because it came with PerlBill (which has also made things a lot easier to manage)

Personally we use DeskPro - best bit of software I've installed in a long while, but it may b overtaken by ModernBill yet, we shall see in a week or two.
