Surprised at their timing. I'd have thought sitting on them for a year or two more would be an idea... unless they need the cash

Not on the market as such, just raising funding for expansion, as non of the owners are selling their share completely.

Yep, a share-issue rather than a rights-issue, but it does give an approximate value-per-share for the current holders of £3.80 each - not a bad increase from the on-paper value of £1.23 when they delisted.
It seems DC's are springing up all over the place at the moment - exactly as they did before the first crash ... interesting times.

With any luck, we'll get a glut of space in good DCs, without the downturn, and it'll be a buyers market again, but I doubt it, I can see a downturn coming, been some silly money purchases the past couple of years. Only the other day, something about facebook, and how they were valued at $10bn - WTF?

I'm with you there, Karl.
Got "Crash" written all over it; not surprised the Skype guys are taking the money and running...

Yup, laughing all the way to the bank. Social networking sites have very little real world monetry value and most aren't generating money, so to be valuing them at $bns is madness, it's going to bite, bit time.

All they are selling is potential, potential to do whatever the hell you like with information you hold on the millions of users!

Yeah, things are seriously getting out of hand.
I really can't say that I am surprised, though, with people doing things like purchasing video game money on MMORPGs.

I know someone who spends most of his time on MMPORG's making and selling money. He has a nice car and flat but spends 95% of his time inside on his computer so make of it what you will

That he needs to go out and get laid? No point having money/nice car if you're never going to spend/use it.
