VI have history - floated, acquired, management buy out and now acquired by UK2. I'd like to see the company's worth at all these stages!

it's a very different company now though - back in the days it was mainly domains/mass market services that VI provided, now it's purely a HAS/managed services with very high arpu's.

I suppose selfishly I'm wondering if this signifies a new tangent you're going to expand organically and/or acquisitionally into, or was this a one off right time, right place purchase

With the likes of Clara and Group NBT (amongst others) looking to consolidate the HAS/MS sector somewhat.. I was wondering if you lot were throwing your hat in the ring

VI.net was a great fit for us for many reasons.

- We have lost clients in the past to the "rackspace-segment" and with VI we would be able to compete with those services, both in UK and US.
- We will be launching windows/exchange hosting sometime soon across our group, and VI's windows expertise would be good for us.
- We needed a level of management above what we provide via supremesupport.com, and the VI guys would be able to provide that - even to non-VI clients.

We are not planning further acquisitions into that scene anytime soon though, but we will build and invest heavily into the VI brand - it's a great setup, fantastic techs and very competitive prices.
