    is that for the 50mb??

    i just had my 20mb put back on and even though we still had the modem and hadnt changed address they still charged £30 so they could send the modem through the post...
    if you forgot what you forgot, did you forget anything??

    £35 covers the special new modem - and probably goes towards the cost of the free laptop also.

    They told me we could have it if we upgraded - might be a perk of the VIP package which basically gives you everything Virginmedia has to offer for one lump sum.

    Typically with Virgin I've found that if you are out of a contract period and willing to threaten to leave you can get the 'new customer' deals - although a free laptop might be pushing it

    I think i will hold on until october when my term is up and then see for a free upgrade to 50mb... I don't really want or need it as 20mb is fine for me, but always like to have a haggle
