first post, hello all. I'm a client of Sentient Internet / MyDevHost / Monil, and I had a couple of small websites, plus a streaming server for an internet radio station with them.
About two weeks ago all their websites went offline (although the streaming server was working fine until last night - it's still up, but is now refusing connections).
Although I moved my websites at the time, I've been trying to contact Monil ever since - the Sentient and Mydevhost sites are also down (
www.sentient.net.uk and
www.mydevhost.net respectively), which means their email also bounces, and the main phone just goes to answer machine (although that was usually always the case).
I'm just trying to figure out whether they've packed up for good, or whether Monil is on holiday and simply hasn't left any cover. There are still a few files I'd like to retrieve from my old server, and this downtime also prevents their online payment system working too.
Does anyone on this forum know what's happened or how I could contact them about it?
In addition, I'm now looking for an affordable streaming server package to replace their server - it's a niche station so at present I'm only looking for about 20 simultaneous connections at 192k per audio stream. I've used Shoutcast to date but would consider anything that can talk to SAM Broadcaster software. Does anyone offer suitable streaming services?
