Any Be/o2 resellers? Or can you do single/bonded ADSL2+ ?

Hello,

I require a single or bonded ADSL2+ connection. Be/o2 are due to LLU my exchange at the end of October so I'm looking to upgrade.

The exchange is the following: http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/ESMAI

Require the following:

- "Upto" 24mbits downstream
- "Upto" 2.5mbits upstream
- "Unlimited" or a very high bandwidth cap (100-200gb+ as expands)
- Permission to resell this connection via WiFi to neighbours etc
- 64 static IP addresses minimum

At the minute I have 2x 8mbit ADSL max circuits doing this for ~£50/month each.

Throw me some offers please or point me in the right direction

Thanks!

We can provide this, however you have to bear in mind the wholesale price of a Be connection with guaranteed contention is WAY in excess of the current retail pricing.

However if you think it is viable, we can offer it including IP's, usage requirements and such. Drop me a PM, ideally including a realistic budgetary expectation.

I fear you currently offered pricing probably doesn't allow resale, or provide 64 IPs tho...

If your looking to run a WISP type operation your not going to get much help from any of the DSL operators. They all have anti resell clauses in there contracts as there selling subsidies contended bandwidth. There business model relies on you not using the connection more than few hours a day, hence why they try there hardest to disconnect or limit file sharers.

If you’re trying to do this your best bet is to speak with Thus or NTL Telewest business and get yourself a local tail circuit. Either way its not going to be cheap.

Err no, I am sorry you are just wrong. If you have your own L2TP or you actually are a DSL provider with Centrals or hand off from an LLU op you can do what you want with it. It is only the providers business model that may not stack up financially to do this.

You are taking about taking some Demon / PN / BT etc connection then re-selling it on, not actually being the provider in the first instance.

Im sure you can do what you want if you obtain a circuit with no volume based pricing. Regardless ADSL is not a good choice of backhaul and whilst you could route a /24 down an ADSL line the end user would be accessing the Internet via a contended x contended x contended service.

By contrast hotspot operators do use ADSL for backhaul because there is no SLA attached to there offerings i.e. you dont see 1 hours internet access with 99.9% uptime just £4.95

If your offering your customers an SLA then don’t use ADSL for backhaul.
