Setting up ADSL broadband

Ive signed up for ADSL broadband from giointernet,

i know my login username and password for the service, i have ordered ...http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=48449

plus microfilters,

network cards,

two runs of cat5 cable, for each pc,

First question, Is this all the kit i need (someone mentioned a hub? what is this?)

Second question, how do i configer both my pcs for broadband, both running win xp.

If you want to setup a LAN to use a single broadband connection you can do one of the following.

1. Make one of your machine a gateway machine (usually the one connected to the DSL line) and use the XP Internet Connection Sharing software built into it.

2. You still need to make one machine a gateway and load some bespoke software like Wingate. This will allow all the machines to share a single DSL line.
