Maxing out a 512k Line ive found you can get 5 gig a day , so if we did max out the 8mb line
16 x 5 = 80 gigs a day
Thats like 7 days
Or between 5 of us 3.3 gig a day
Id rather not have the limits

bulldog has the worst support I've ever seen. It is almost impossible to catch them on the phone. I was asking a username and password for 2 months in order to upgrade my line.

I moved ISP yesterday and have to admit I considered f2s, but in the end Zen won as I value reliability and responsive support (and Zen seem to offer both) more than saving £10/mo for an ADSL connection. F2s seem to have a good reputation, but Zen's seems much better and pre-sales was much more professional and quick.

I went with Bulldog and apart from trying to get them on the phone (either support or Cust services) everything has been brilliant

I used bulldog for our office dsl connection a while ago, and they were about the worst company i've ever had to deal with. perhaps their support is better than it once was, and perhaps their service isn't down nearly every week any more now, but i'd never trust them again after the way they conducted business.
Perhaps since they got bought out they've been brought up to scratch?

no, since clueless & witless took over customer service is practically non-existant, support have been unable to fix a recurring "you stopped routing this ip block" issue, and they shat on their resellers from a great height

I have a friend who recently joined UKonline for their 8Mb service.
From what I recall, the staff made several **** ups at first (didn't send the hardware out on tim, then when he pursued the problem, they gave him BS over the phone etc) however, when the equipment arrived all seemed fine.
To begin with he was getting speed of 400KB/s but after some routine changes in their network he was consistently getting 700+ also, he pins to my network at a nice 7-8ms

Whereabouts is your friend located?
Is the 7-8ms to TSN's network or do you have your own too?
Cheers,
Kris

Apologies I was referring to my rack in the TSN network (I was tired, forgive me )
My friend is somewhere in London but surprisingly is around 14 hops (seems to go through most of the level3 metro hops :P)
