Cheap ADSL?

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a cost-effective ADSL provider to supply a connection with at least 128k upload. Download speed is not an issue as it wil onlyl be used to upload a community radio stream to a server, most likely colocated with Netrino.

Can anyone provide some good offers? Possibly ISPs that have peerings with Netrino?

I'd appreciate any feedback

As ADSL basically only has upload capability of 256K and that will be contended n:1 (50:1 on home connections, 20:1 on business connections) if you need to sustain 128K, then adsl is not a viable solutions

you'd need to be looking @ dual-bonded isdn

Pick a large ADSL company and the contention will not really be an issue as most people on average dont use their adsl for more than a few minutes a day :P

Dual bonded ISDN is a crazy idea, you need a 128kbit stream upload and your going to do that with exactly 128Kbps max upload, i think not, you wouldnt even be able to fill the buffer as you cant go fast enough

I Never have had a problem sustaining >128kbps on ADSL with NDO or Eclipse.

Hi Matt,

I believe Netrino offer an ADSL service through a sister company of some sort. If you're co-locating the streaming server with them it may be a good idea to look into getting your connection with them too.
