They're talking of 868kbit/s I think for the BT MAX trials. It all depends how the available frequency is split between up and down.

Hmm. I'd have assumed that their Web site would sit in the super-fast network that's going to carry all this super fast broadband to the rest of the Internet community - so where is it then?!

I don't think they've actually got their super-fast network up and running yet.

From what I was reading they've only just started installing kit into exchanges 45 exchanges isn't going to cover a massive amount of London either, I expect it will take quite a few years to catch up with the coverage levels of Bulldog or Easynet.
