How long is it going to take for providers to make the switch do you think? Annoying me that I can get 8mbit but I'm not on it

It can take 7 days to regrade a line to a higher speed.

I would assume it's the same with regrades to the new ADSL MAX service.

I'm with Zen and was sent an email today promising 3 working days for migration to Max DSL. I did however pre-register for it about 6 weeks ago.

It is possibly going to take months to upgrade all lines. BT Wholesale have set a limit on the number of regrade requests that can be submitted each day.

So don't go getting your hopes up...

We're still deciding on how we're going to price ADSL Max lines

You wait ages for your ISP to be able to provide adsl max by the sound of it

I echo Jakes words, there is going to be a large backlog of orders so I suspect any orders being submitted from now wont get activated for at least 2-3 weeks. I cant even put my order in yet as we dont have the order codes to do so.

This probably isn't the right time to mention "staff privileges" and "upgrade date of 7th April" then...

Some people on A&A got regraded this morning, but they were still capped to 2mbit at the RAS for ages.

Both of my lines are migrating and regrading on the 7th too

Estimated install date of the 13th here. Regrade was submitted to BT yesterday by Nildram.

PlusNet Usertools says I should get between 5.5-8mb, however Nildram say I'll get 5.5mb.. which one can I trust, or do I have to wait and see? I'm guessing Nildrams figure will be more accurate?
